Sunscreen Causes Cancer
We have been told for years by dermatologists that
sunlight causes skin cancer, but as usual, medicine overlooks a few things -
like why does it cause skin cancer when it didn't use to cause skin cancer, and
what happens if we eliminate the sun?
Obviously there was some skin cancer 100 years ago,
but why has it increased so much in the last 60 years?
As with anything, there are multiple reasons. One of
the most glaring causes is personal care products like cosmetics, cologne,
shampoos and hair coloring. Most of these products are very toxic, but in the
1970's there was a grandfather understanding that if a product existed before
new legislation went into effect, then there would be no requirements to prove
the old chemicals were safe. Many of these products are commercial cleaners
that remove oil from garage floors.
The government considered the skin to be a barrier.
Put something on the skin and that is where it stayed, but that is not the
truth. The skin is the biggest organ of the body and anything that gets on it
is absorbed into the body. The body then has to detox the chemicals through the
liver. This works fine when we are younger, but with bioaccumulation (build up
of toxins as we age), the liver finally is overwhelmed and can't do its job and
some area of the body becomes cancerous.
Dermatologists have also recommended that people
stay out of the sun, although to gather if possible. The problem with that
logic is that without some exposure to the sun, our bodies do not make or
produce vitamin D. We now have an epidemic of deaths due to the lack of Vitamin
D; it is estimated that 50,000 people die in the USA because of the shortage of
this important vitamin.
One hundred years ago there were very few heart
attacks because people ate healthy saturated fats from healthy grass fed beef
and milk cows. At the time vegetable oils were invented and touted as healthy
for people, it was suggested they should switch from animal oil sources to the
vegetable source. The problem is that the animal oils were Omega III's, CLA's,
and other beneficial fatty acids while vegetable oils were Omega VI's without
the other beneficial oils. In fact, since WWII, the growth of Omega VI's in
processed foods is way out of balance. A ratio of one to one is ideal, but
today that balance is one to twenty five to one to fifty. When trans-fatty
acids - from vegetable oils - increased, so did skin cancer.
The final assault to cause skin cancer is
sunscreens. Most have been ineffective and come off easily, but most of them are
toxic and absorbed through the skin into the body - hence the liver. The latest
toxin thrown into the mix is nanotechnology. This chemical technology blocks
the sun's rays better than past products, but because of the micro particles,
it is absorbed into the skin better than ever before; at the same time, it is
more toxic in causing skin cancer and other cancers because of the absorption
into the body and the filtration of the liver.
What's a body to do?
Try
to avoid the hot afternoon sun as much as possible. Stay inside or cover your
body with hats and loose fitting clothing.
Get
some sunshine every day to manufacture natural vitamin D
Get
an oil change. Avoid processed foods that contain Omega VI's and consume a
large amount of Omega III's from grass fed beef and non-pasteurized grass fed
milk products. Also, use fish oil supplements if they come from a healthy
source - such as Dr Bob's Total Ocean Nutrition - virgin salmon oil from
Norway.
Stop
using sunscreens.
Find
non-toxic personal care products - perfumes, shampoos, hair coloring, etc.
I know common sense isn't as common as it once was,
but it is still the best way to care for ourselves.
Always ask this question when you see advice in the
media - who is making money? The old ways were good and sometimes we have to
change, but corporations manipulate the media to get us to buy their products
that are not necessarily good for us but money makers for them.
